Bob and Candy Cook - Your Hosts

Bob Cook, along with his wife Candy, launched Branded Visuals on March 4th, 1996. From the company's beginnings, Bob has used his design and manufacturing skills to assist clients with their Display and Signage requirements. Over the years, Bob grew in his mastery of many old and new signcraft techniques and even now offers unique insights when challenged with unusual projects.

The Gallery in Bragg Creek

Extending from Branded Visuals is a relatively recent effort to display Wildlife Photography in corporate offices and living spaces around the city of Calgary and surrounding areas. Calgary is a city saturated in Oil/Gas related industries and with that wealth comes a growing need to protect the environment and preserve essential habitat for some of our province's (and country's) most vulnerable species. It is Bob and Candy's desire for all people to see and appreciate Canada's 'wild side'.

"We're relatively new to the world of wildlife photography, having gravitated to it only 7 years back when Candy spotted (as she is so good at) a row of young Merlins (Falcons) perched on a pine branch across the street. That moment marked the beginning of a mutually enjoyed passion that has led to numerous trips and opportunities to view and photograph many special species of the furry and feathered variety. It's a compelling thrill to capture a split second of up-front and personal wildlife behavior. We're blessed to be surrounded by some spectacular parks and really appreciate our close proximity to the mountains. If you're out in the wild and happen to recognize our faces, please introduce yourself ... we'd love to exchange a story or two."
